Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Bill 1017 include adding a specific focus on cochlear implants as part of the AHCCCS program, which is Arizona's Medicaid system. Additionally, some introductory information about the bill, such as the authors and the pre-filing date, has been removed. This matters because it clarifies the bill's intent to ensure that cochlear implants are included in the state’s healthcare coverage, potentially improving access to this treatment for individuals who need it.
