Plain-language change summary

The latest version of HB 214 simplifies the requirements for maintaining proof after a driver’s license suspension. Previously, the duration for maintaining proof varied depending on whether it was the first, second, third, or fourth suspension, making it more complicated. Now, proof only needs to be kept for one year after the judgment is resolved, regardless of the number of suspensions. This change streamlines the process, making it easier for individuals to understand and comply with the law, and potentially reducing confusion and administrative burdens.
