What changed in the latest version
9 added · 9 removedPlain-language change summary
The new version of Bill HB 2274 reduces the appropriation amount from $24.2 million to $19.8 million, which means less funding is allocated for the intended purpose. Additionally, the previous requirement for the funding to be exempt from lapsing has been removed, making it subject to regular appropriation rules. These changes are significant because they reflect a tighter budget and could impact the funding's stability in future years.
