Plain-language change summary

The changes to House Bill 2729 shift the focus from reimbursing individual members of metropolitan planning organizations to allowing reimbursement for any person covered under a federal transportation contract with these organizations. This modification is important because it broadens the pool of individuals eligible for reimbursement, potentially enabling more people involved in regional planning efforts to cover their travel and related expenses, thus encouraging greater participation and collaboration in transportation planning.
