intent A.  The sum of $2,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to Maricopa county community college district.

B.  The legislature intends that:
The sum of $2,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to Maricopa county community college district.
1.  The monies appropriated in subsection A of this section be used for the achieving a college education program operated by Maricopa county community college district and that $500,000 of the monies appropriated in subsection A of this section be used for students in the program who are enrolled in career and technical education courses.
B.
2.  The district spend the monies:
The legislature intends that:
(a)  To increase participation in the program among high school students.

(b)  To pay tuition costs for program participants to enroll in:
