Plain-language change summary

HB 2128 has been revised to include a specific fee waiver for honorably discharged veterans who applied within two years of discharge. Additionally, the bill now appropriates $250,000 each year from the state general fund to reimburse agencies that waive these fees. These changes aim to support military service members and veterans by easing their financial burdens when applying for state licenses, ultimately helping them reintegrate more smoothly into civilian life.
