Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 1104 raised the contribution threshold from $50 to $100 for in-state individuals, meaning campaigns can accept larger individual donations without additional reporting requirements. Additionally, the previous requirement for campaigns to disclose the details of contributions exceeding $5,000 from multiple small donors was removed. This change simplifies reporting for campaigns and may encourage more contributions from individual donors, which can help them fund their efforts more effectively.
