Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to House Bill 2364 establishes a pilot program that provides teachers with $200 for classroom supplies, but it has removed the requirement for the Department of Education to report on the program's effectiveness. This change means that while teachers will still receive funding to help with classroom materials, there will be no official assessment on how well the program is working. This matters because it could limit accountability regarding the use of funds and may make it harder to evaluate the program's impact on teaching and learning conditions.
