Plain-language change summary

The bill HB 2086 has been revised to clarify the roles of health professionals—specifically, it specifies that both nurse practitioners and pharmacists licensed in Arizona can help manage students' diabetes at school. Additionally, it emphasizes that schools can implement policies to support this process without worrying about legal liability, as long as they act in good faith. This change is important because it ensures that students with diabetes receive necessary support while also protecting school staff from potential lawsuits related to their health management activities.
