Plain-language change summary

The latest version of HB 57 removes references to specific healthcare providers, such as physicians and podiatrists, from the general definition of "health care provider." This change highlights a broader definition that includes various licensed professionals like acupuncturists, chiropractors, and therapists without singling out any particular type of provider. This update could help ensure a more inclusive understanding of healthcare roles in the state, making it clear that different types of licensed practitioners are recognized under the law.
