Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to SB 83 removed the option for applicants to secure a temporary license in dentistry or dental hygiene based on their educational qualifications and examination results. Instead, the revised bill now focuses on licensing qualifications for individuals who come from states or provinces that do not issue licenses for their professions, including provisions for military qualifications. This shift emphasizes the bill's aim to streamline the licensing process for individuals entering these professions from areas without established licensing, which is important for ensuring a sufficient workforce in dental care.
