Plain-language change summary

The latest version of Bill HB 29 has expanded the scope of protections against discrimination in insurance based on political affiliation. The term "political expression" has been added, broadening the potential protections for individuals beyond just political party affiliation. This change matters because it aims to safeguard not only political party members but also those who express their political beliefs, ensuring fair treatment in the insurance market for all individuals regardless of their political views or status as elected officials.
