Plain-language change summary

The changes to Bill SB 98 shift its focus from adult home care services to specifically address adult foster care services. The new version emphasizes the transition of individuals who are aging out of foster care to remain in the same home and with the same families, allowing for continuity of care and support. This is important because it aims to ease the transition for young adults leaving state custody, ensuring they can continue to receive necessary support without disruption.
