What changed in the latest version
62 added · 79 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of SB 93 has removed a provision that allowed for the establishment of a fee schedule to charge businesses for accessing data from the all-payer health claims database. This change eliminates the potential for generating revenue from businesses wanting to use the database, which may affect funding and operational decisions. Additionally, the director's requirement to use a competitive bidding process to select the lead organization for overseeing the database remains, ensuring transparency and accountability in the selection process. These shifts could impact how the database operates and how accessible the data is to various stakeholders.
