Plain-language change summary

The amended bill SB 94 has made a few key changes. Notably, it removes specific sections that required the education loan program to seek efficiencies and submit annual performance reports to the legislature. This matters because by eliminating those requirements, there might be less accountability for ensuring that the loan program effectively benefits students in Alaska. Overall, these changes could impact how the loan programs are managed and assessed moving forward.
