What changed in the latest version
52 added · 80 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of SB 156 removes references to health care insurance eligibility and adds new sections that specifically prohibit state agencies from requiring COVID-19 vaccination documentation for travel within Alaska. This change emphasizes the legislative intent to uphold individual rights regarding medical choices and privacy. It matters because it strengthens protections against possible discrimination based on vaccination status, ensuring that individuals can access public services and benefits without having to show proof of vaccination.
