Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 193 now includes provisions to require a report on the audit compliance of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, which was not present in the original bill. This change is important because it ensures that there will be accountability and oversight regarding how the Board implements recommendations from a previous audit. Additionally, the bill still extends the termination date of the Board, but now includes a specific timeline for reporting, which helps maintain transparency in the management of chiropractic regulation in Alaska.
