Plain-language change summary

In the updates to Senate Bill 84, the eligibility date for certain state land vouchers used in determining public assistance was changed from January 1, 2023, to January 1, 2022. Additionally, the bill specifies that these vouchers will be counted as income or resources for public assistance recipients and their households. This change is important because it may affect the financial support that many families receive, ensuring that more recent voucher holders are also accounted for in the public assistance calculations.
