What changed in the latest version

In the latest version of Senate Bill 6, a section about the reemployment of retired teachers has been removed. This means that the bill no longer includes provisions regarding how retired teachers could return to work after taking retirement incentives. This change matters because it simplifies the bill's focus on providing retirement incentives to help manage workforce costs without complicating the process with reemployment rules.
