What changed in the latest version

The new version of SB 47 introduces special registration plates for vehicles owned by individuals with disabilities, specifically acknowledging veterans who were disabled during their service. It ensures that anyone with a disability that affects their ability to walk can request a free vehicle registration and receive a distinctive plate that includes symbols honoring their service. This change matters because it helps create visible recognition and support for veterans and individuals with disabilities while also promoting awareness of their needs in the community.
