Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill HB 118 shorten the timeline for creating individual case plans for prisoners from 90 days to 30 days after sentencing. Additionally, the bill now requires reentry planning for prisoners serving 30 days or more rather than 90 days, allowing for earlier support as they prepare to transition back into the community. These updates aim to facilitate a smoother reintegration process for inmates, potentially leading to better outcomes for both the individuals and society.
