What changed in the latest version
3 added · 3 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of SB 61 removes the requirement that vessel owners can only claim 50% of their insurance deductible. Now, they can claim the full deductible amount, as long as it doesn't exceed $5,000. This change is important because it potentially increases the financial support vessel owners can receive when a fisherman files a claim, which may help them manage unexpected costs more effectively.
