Plain-language change summary

The revised bill, SB 23, made minor adjustments to the wording but primarily focused on ensuring that specific payments for permanent fund dividends from 2016 to 2018 align with payments for 2019 to 2021. The amounts for the dividends in the original bill were also slightly adjusted, with the payment for 2018 increasing from $1,388 to $1,328. These changes are important as they help clarify how past and future dividends will be distributed to eligible individuals, ensuring that residents receive the funds they are entitled to in a timely manner.
