7 added · 6 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill SB 20 now adds tramadol and similar substances to a new category, Schedule IVA, while also retaining U-47700 in Schedule IA. This change is significant because it helps regulate tramadol, which can be misused and poses health risks, similar to how U-47700 is treated. By classifying these substances more precisely, lawmakers aim to improve public safety and control the availability of drugs that may contribute to substance abuse.
