Plain-language change summary

The latest version of SB 83 includes a change in how the law refers to the office where reports of suspected abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults should be made. It replaces the previous name with a more simplified term, "vulnerable adult centralized intake office." This change matters because it may make it easier for professionals to understand where to report their concerns, potentially leading to quicker responses and better protection for vulnerable adults in care facilities.
