What changed in the latest version

The updated version of Bill SR 9 has changed the title from "Federal Management Areas" to "Federal Areas" in relation to how Alaska manages public land and resources. This subtle shift aims to clarify the focus on all federal lands in the state rather than just those under specific management areas. This distinction is significant because it reflects a broader intention to address issues such as local access and resource management across a wider scope of federal lands, which can impact both the state's governance and the rights of its residents.
