The recent changes to HB 401 primarily clarify the requirements for insurers regarding credit for reinsurance and the standards used for evaluating insurance policies. Key revisions include enabling the insurance director to set additional rules for reinsurance arrangements and refining the definitions and procedures for actuarial evaluations.
