Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 87 removes a specific requirement that public officers on the Boards of Fisheries and Game be disqualified from participating in discussions if they or their immediate family members have personal or financial interests linked to permits or licenses. Instead, it allows them to participate but requires them to disclose any conflicts. This change is significant because it aims to enable board members to engage in discussions even when personal interests may be present, thus potentially improving the boards' ability to make decisions about fish and game resources while still maintaining transparency.
