Chapter 128
Section 2B1/2. Rodeos shall comply with all Official Rodeo Rules as appearing in the most recently published edition of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association Rule Book. For the purposes of this section, “rodeo” shall be defined as “a competition or exhibition in which individuals compete by or showcase skills associated with traditional cowboy activities, including but not limited to bull riding, bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, and team roping, and include the use of animals, including but not limited to bulls, steers, calves, broncs, and horses”.
This change establishes requirements for rodeos to comply with specific rules and defines what constitutes a rodeo.
