Plain-language change summary

The amendment adds co-sponsors to the bill and removes references to the bill being pre-filed for introduction in the 2026 session and its pending technical review by Legislative Counsel. The main content requiring the State Treasurer to create a public registry of out-of-state contractors engaged in public works projects remains unchanged. This registry will include details about the contractors, such as the description of their projects and contact information, and will be made available on the Department of the Treasury's website.
