The recent changes to SB 2144 include clarifications on the information that applicants must provide when seeking licensure for professional employer services. Specifically, more details about the organization type, business name, addresses, tax identification numbers, and fiscal year end dates are now required. This is important because it helps ensure that the Secretary of State has comprehensive and accurate information, which can improve the overall transparency and accountability of professional employer organizations operating in North Dakota.
