Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Bill No. 2020 involve adding specific funding amounts and creating a new pool for hiring new and vacant positions at the North Dakota state university extension service and its associated institutions. This adjustment increases the total appropriation for the extension service by over $2.3 million, bringing the total to about $61.8 million for the upcoming biennium. This matters because it enhances resources for agricultural research and transportation efforts, which are vital for supporting local farmers and improving infrastructure in North Dakota.
