Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Senate Bill 2010 increases the amount allocated for salaries and wages for the Council on the Arts from approximately $1.4 million to about $1.6 million. It also raises the total general fund appropriation from about $2.55 million to approximately $2.64 million. These changes matter because they provide more funding for salaries, which could help attract and retain skilled staff, as well as slightly increasing support for the overall expenses of the Council on the Arts, which may enhance cultural programs and grants.
