Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Senate Bill No. 2007 includes increased funding for the veterans' home in North Dakota. Specifically, it raises the salaries and wages appropriation by $200,000 and the operating expenses by $100,000, totaling an additional $300,000 for the overall budget. This increase matters because it aims to better support the financial needs of the veterans' home, ensuring they can provide quality care and services for veterans and their families.
