Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill B25-1024 now require property owners and contractors to show that their insurance covers potential damage to adjacent properties caused by construction work. This change specifically applies to permits for projects that are near property lines or involve shared walls. This matters because it enhances protection for neighboring property owners, ensuring they are compensated for any damage that could occur due to construction activities nearby.
