Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill B25-1047 now allows certain retail establishments, specifically those with a Class C or D liquor license and specific 24-hour restaurants, to refuse cash payments. This change introduces the requirement that these businesses provide clear written notice to customers about their no-cash policy by displaying it prominently. This matters because it aims to enhance safety for employees in entertainment venues and reduce the risks associated with handling cash, especially during late-night hours.
