What changed in the latest version

The revised version of SB 154 changes the requirement for suspending a driver’s license from "two or more occasions" to "more than one occasion" for a specific situation related to court appearances after a traffic violation. This adjustment clarifies that just one failure to appear during a compliance review can lead to a suspension. This matters because it potentially increases accountability by allowing for quicker action on missed court dates, but it may also raise concerns for individuals who might miss an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances.
