The newly enrolled version of Bill SB 90 adds a specific section to exclude certain products processed under Chapter 2A of Title 20 from a sales and use tax exemption that usually benefits producer value added agricultural products. This change clarifies existing tax policy and ensures that these specific products will not benefit from the exemption.
