(3) Logging companies are a vital link of the forest supply chain system and it is critical for the state's economy Page 1 SB76 Engrossed that these companies have every opportunity to be successful.
Maintaining, repairing, replacing, and constructing public rural bridges that may not qualify for funding through traditional funding formulas utilized by the state and Page 1 SB76 Enrolled counties to distribute revenue generated by fuel taxes.
Page 2 SB76 Engrossed (1) Adopt rules to implement and administer this section.
Page 2 SB76 Enrolled (3) Ensure that all grant applicants are residents of the State of Alabama.
Page 3 SB76 Engrossed (6) Coordinate its appointments to the advisory committee to assure that the committee membership is inclusive and reflects the racial, gender, geographic, urban, rural and economic diversity of the state.
The fund shall Page 3 SB76 Enrolled consist of all of the following:
All grants, gifts, bequests, or donations made to 95 the fund from any source whatsoever.
(2) Monies in the fund shall be used and expended by the Alabama Forestry Commission in accordance with subsection 95 (d).
