(b) Effective for the term of office beginning after the 2026 General Election, the expense allowance provided for in subsection (a) shall be void and the Coroner of Colbert Page 1 HB420 INTRODUCED County shall receive an annual salary of twenty-one thousand dollars ($21,000) to be paid in equal monthly installments from the general fund of the county.
