What changed in the latest version
83 added · 80 removedPlain-language change summary
The revised version of Bill HB 366 now includes the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Space Force among the military branches eligible for a distinctive license plate in Alabama. Previously, only certain branches were included, and obtaining a license plate for the Marine Corps required a higher fee of $25, which has now been reduced to $3, aligning it with the other branches. This change is significant because it promotes recognition and support for more service members and makes it easier and less costly for them to display their military service.
