The changes to Bill HB 195 establish that the Alabama Real Estate Commission will continue its operations until October 1, 2024, as recommended by the Sunset Committee. This use of the Sunset Law allows for regular reviews of state agencies, but in this case, the Commission's functions are being preserved without modifications. This extension matters because it ensures that the Commission remains in place, allowing for ongoing regulation of the real estate industry in Alabama.
