The updated version of Bill HB 155 specifies that before the Coalition Against Domestic Violence can receive the allocated funds for the fiscal year 2024, they must submit an operations plan for that year and an audited financial statement covering the previous year. This change emphasizes accountability by ensuring that the organization has a clear plan in place for how it will use the funds and that its past financial activities can be verified. This matters because it aims to ensure that taxpayer money is being spent effectively and responsibly.
