What changed in the latest version
94 added · 71 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill HB 128 includes additional provisions that clarify the responsibilities of the license commissioner when a check or credit card payment is returned as non-collectible. This change emphasizes that the commissioner or inspector must attempt to retrieve the funds in case of non-collectible payments. This matters because it sets a more defined process for handling payment issues, which can help ensure better financial management and accountability for the county's licensing office.
