Plain-language change summary

The bill SB 94 has been amended to clarify that honey is not included in the list of honeybee byproducts that will be exempt from state sales and use tax. This change is important because it specifies what products will benefit from the tax exemption, potentially encouraging more sales of bee-related items that directly support beekeeping and its associated industries. Additionally, the exemption for local taxes now requires approval from local governing bodies, giving them more control over the implementation of this exemption in their areas.
