What changed in the latest version

The latest version of SB 55 updates the language to allow the State Personnel Director to regularly evaluate job requirements for state positions. Specifically, it emphasizes the need to identify and reduce the number of jobs that require a four-year college degree if possible. This change is important because it aims to make state employment more accessible to a broader range of candidates, potentially filling positions more effectively and diversifying the workforce.
