The recent amendments to Bill SB 53 remove the requirement for a form that certifies a 14- or 15-year-old's grades and attendance before they can be employed. This change means that minors will no longer need to obtain this "eligibility to work" form from their school, which may make it easier and quicker for them to find jobs. This is significant as it could increase employment opportunities for young people, potentially helping them gain work experience and financial independence more readily.
