The amendment to SB 26 changes the term "nurse educator" to "advanced practice nurse" in the Alabama Loan Repayment Program for Advanced Practice Nursing. This adjustment clarifies the qualifications needed to participate in the program, ensuring that it accurately reflects the required graduate degree. This matters because it helps prevent confusion and ensures that the program is accessible to the right healthcare professionals who can benefit from loan repayment support.
