The revised version of HJR 113 adds several lines that emphasize concerns about the World Health Organization (WHO), detailing its alleged corruption, mismanagement, and ties to authoritarian regimes. These additions highlight specific scandals, such as the cover-up of sexual abuse, and argue against the organization's accountability to the U.S. government. This matters because it reflects a stronger stance against the WHO, potentially affecting future U.S. funding and support for international health initiatives.
