The updated version of HB 356 expands eligibility for the state income tax credit to include not just pregnancy centers and residential maternity facilities, but also mobile medical clinics that serve women. This change is important because it broadens the types of organizations that can receive financial support, which may enhance access to resources for women in need. Making these services more financially supported can help ensure that more women receive care and assistance during pregnancy.
